Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect
Location: Hybrid Austin, TX
Duration: 9 Months

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect for a 9-month hybrid assignment with our client based in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting and developing enterprise-level data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. This role requires extensive engagement with customers to collect requirements and lead end-to-end design, modeling, and implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, configure, and implement large-scale Data Warehouse solutions.
  • Engage with business users to gather requirements and manage project deliverables.
  • Design and develop multi-database environments across DB2, Oracle, and Teradata platforms.
  • Develop and optimize database programming scripts (T-SQL, PL/SQL, BTEQ).
  • Create and manage metadata solutions and advanced analytics/reporting systems.
  • Lead ETL development initiatives and ensure compliance with data warehouse architecture standards.
  • Re-architect existing systems into enterprise-ready data solutions.
  • Design near real-time data integration and secure data access frameworks.
  • Enable self-service BI capabilities for end users.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years in Data Warehouse architecture, configuration, and implementation.
  • 7+ years in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and project management.
  • 7+ years in multi-database development environments (DB2/Oracle/Teradata).
  • 7+ years in data warehouse design and development (experience with HCM/Financial data preferred).
  • 7+ years in metadata and analytics solution development.
  • 7+ years of advanced ETL development experience.
  • 6+ years applying data warehouse architecture standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • 5+ years developing DB2 data warehouse solutions (version 10.1 or higher).
  • 5+ years in re-architecting legacy systems.
  • 4+ years with real-time/near-real-time integration and complex data security.
  • 3+ years designing end-user self-service BI solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Project, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).

Additional Information:

  • Interviews: Conducted via phone and Skype.
  • Work Setup: Primarily remote; onsite presence required as needed.
