Job Description
Skill: MS Fabric Developer
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience working as Azure analytics developer.
- Understand business requirements and actively provide inputs from Data perspective.
- Understand the underlying data and flow of data.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture, including Lakehouse SQL, OneLake, and Direct Lake integration with Power BI.
- Ability to develop and optimize PySpark notebooks within Fabric for large-scale data processing.
- Experience in Fabric pipeline orchestration and integration with Azure Data Factory or Fabric Dataflows Gen2.
- Strong understanding of data governance and security in Fabric, including sensitivity labels and lineage.
- Should be able to implement modules that has security and authorization frameworks.
- Monitor ADF & Synapse pipelines and retrigger basis on application functionality.
- Produce unit tests for Spark transformations.
- Spark / Database query tuning and performance optimization.
- Advance knowledge and hands on experience with Azure SQL DB, ADF, Synapse Analytics and Power BI.
- Able to analyze and understand complex data.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake is required and Azure Services like SQL database and ADO.
- Ability to debug existing notebook and suggest solutions for bug fixes and minor enhancements.
- Ability to understand the business requirement and create pipelines, notebooks, link with parent notebook and test the code changes end to end.
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, SparkSQL
- Have a good understanding of the concepts of Data Warehousing.
- Analyzing the defects and its impact, proposing workaround for the issue.
- Develop, customize, and manage applications that integrate with Azure cloud services.
- Application Development and Support experience.
- Work in agile model and provide quick solutions that are efficient and compliant to organization guidelines.
- Be a subject matter expert.
- Familiarity with Fabric Real-Time Analytics (KQL) and Data Activator.
- Exposure to migration from Azure Synapse to Fabric Lakehouse.
- Customer Expectation Management.
- Onshore-Offshore Team Communication Management.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Ability to be flexible, resourceful, organized and work in a fast-paced business environment with special requests
