Description
We are inviting applications for the role of Business Systems Analyst based in Neptune, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be a crucial part of our IT team, focusing on the optimization and maintenance of our PeopleSoft HRIS. The role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities, including troubleshooting technical issues, developing user/business requirements, and producing reports.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of user/business requirements, translating these needs into system technical requirements.
Independently troubleshoot all payroll technical issues, partnering with the PeopleSoft technical team as needed.
Provide custom report development and standard reports to clients based on requirement.
Acquire and retain in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Time and Labor rules, table structure and Time Admin processing to effectively manage and resolve rule inconsistencies and incorrect calculations.
Produce reports using PeopleSoft Query, SQL, XML Publisher and Connected Queries.
Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Business systems, Confluence, Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Agile Scrum and Business Requirement Document for various functions.
Leverage design and diagramming skills to enhance user experience and streamline IT processes.
Focus on the optimization of our PeopleSoft HRIS, with an emphasis on leveraging Fluid Pages technology.
Play a key role in the configuration and maintenance of the PeopleSoft HRIS.
Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared objectives and project deliverables.
Requirements
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Demonstrable experience with business systems
Knowledge of database structures and management
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Proven skills in AB Testing methodologies
Experience in Agile Scrum project management
Ability to create and maintain Business Requirement Documents
Experience in design and diagramming tools
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
