Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking an IT Problem and Change Management Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Problem Management:
* Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of recurring IT issues
* Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent future incidents
* Maintain a problem management database and ensure accurate documentation of known errors and workarounds
* Collaborate with incident management teams to reduce incident volume and improve service reliability

Change Management:
* Develop and enforce change management policies and procedures aligned with ITIL best practices
* Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and ensure timely review and approval of change requests
* Assess risks, impacts, and dependencies for proposed changes
* Monitor and report on change success rates, failures, and trends

Governance & Compliance:
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance requirements
* Maintain audit-ready documentation for all problem and change management activities

Continuous Improvement:
* Analyze metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for process optimization
* Provide training and guidance to IT teams on problem and change management processes

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
* ITIL Certification (Foundation required; Intermediate or Expert preferred)
* 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management, with a focus on problem and change management
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
