Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
We are looking for a highly capable RF Engineer to lead the design, modeling, and testing of next-generation RF systems. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in RF hardware or propagation modeling, particularly within radar technologies. The position demands hands-on proficiency with RF test equipment and strong MATLAB skills for simulation and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate RF hardware components, with emphasis on radar and communication systems.
- Perform advanced RF propagation modeling, focusing on electromagnetic field behavior beyond standard link budget calculations.
- Develop and execute test plans for radar and countermeasure systems.
- Operate and analyze data from RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Conduct testing within anechoic chambers and interpret results for system optimization.
- Use MATLAB for RF simulation, modeling, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate RF subsystems into larger platforms.
- Document technical procedures, test results, and engineering findings with precision and clarity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:
- RF hardware design and component-level testing (radar experience preferred).
- RF propagation modeling with emphasis on electromagnetic field dynamics.
- MATLAB-based RF simulation and analysis.
- Operation of RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with radar systems and signal processing.
- Familiarity with RF system integration, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance frameworks for RF systems.
