RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer in Vienna, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Extensive ServiceNow development experience including modules, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform; This includes proficiency in core modules like ITSM, HRSD, CSM, NowAssist, RAPTOR DB, Workflow Data Fabric, and CMDB
* Experience with AI integrations: Proven experience implementing ServiceNow AI modules like Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Performance Analytics
* Agile methodologies and DevOps practices: Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding CI/CD pipelines
* NowAssist product utilization: Experience in building and maintaining solutions using NowAssist features and related technologies such as AI Search, Virtual Agent, Skills Builder, AI Agent Studio, and Workflow Builder to build chatbots and enhance business processes
* Experience with conversational AI platforms: Familiarity with platforms beyond NowAssist like Moveworks or Microsoft Copilot
* JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting proficiency: Expertise in JavaScript (including Glide APIs) for client-side and server-side scripting to customize and extend the platform's capabilities
* Large Language Model (LLM) familiarity: Understanding of LLM concepts and ability to leverage them for tasks like natural language understanding and optimization of system instructions
* Integration skills: Expertise in using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods to connect ServiceNow with external systems, including external AI services like OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, or Google Cloud AI
* Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Problem-solving and analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Master's degree and 12 years of experience
* ServiceNow certifications: Relevant certifications like Certified ServiceNow Developer or AI certifications
* Proficient in JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and Agile methodologies
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
