Job Title: SharePoint and Power Platform Administrator
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Job Type: Long term Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage, maintain, and support SharePoint (Online and On-Premises) and Power Platform environments. This role includes user support, system troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance system performance and usability.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience administering SharePoint Online and/or On-Premises (site management, permissions, content).
- Experience supporting Power Platform tools: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem including OneDrive, Teams, and Office 365.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Understanding of governance and compliance best practices within Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and web-based application troubleshooting.
- Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Familiarity with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow for incident and ticket management.
- Knowledge of IIS Administration is a plus.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot Power Platform apps and SharePoint (on-prem and online) environments.
- Analyze user requirements to define Power Platform and SharePoint system specifications.
- Coordinate and implement SharePoint system upgrades and enhancements.
- Provide user support for issues related to SharePoint and Power Platform access, permissions, and functionality.
- Assist users with creating Power Apps, automated workflows, and dashboards.
- Conduct SharePoint site audits and monitor performance.
- Generate usage and issue reports for Power Platform and SharePoint.
- Collaborate with users to gather requirements and suggest system improvements.
- Maintain documentation including design specs, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
- Deliver training and develop knowledge base articles for common issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure system integration.
- Stay updated through continued education and professional engagement.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect organizational data.
- Support additional IT requests and contribute to broader team goals.
- Assist and support IT developers as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
