We re seeking a strategic and hands-on Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in optimizing operations, advancing product innovation, and supporting long-term facility planning. The Engineering Manager will oversee both process and development engineering functions, driving results through collaboration, performance metrics, and continuous improvement. #LI-JM1
What You ll Do

Champion workplace safety and compliance across all engineering activities.

Build and maintain a high-performing team culture rooted in respect, accountability, and continuous learning.

Guide the successful execution of new product introductions ensuring projects meet financial and scheduling targets.

Spearhead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline operations.

Track key performance indicators and lead action plans to meet or exceed defined engineering goals.

Cultivate collaborative relationships with labor representatives and uphold fair labor practices.

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to engineering staff.

Standardize procedures for equipment commissioning, maintenance, and operational readiness.

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on long-term capital planning, including facility layout and capacity modeling.

Own and refine internal change management systems for engineering documentation and updates.

Balance daily engineering priorities with long-term project execution.

Partner with product development teams to support design, prototyping, and production readiness.

Facilitate clear and consistent communication through regular team updates and departmental meetings.

Take on special projects and additional leadership responsibilities as needed.
What We re Looking For

Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar). Equivalent experience considered.

10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, with at least 5 in a leadership capacity.

Deep knowledge of production processes, equipment layout, and operational planning.

Experience with union environments is preferred.

Familiarity with metal forming, stamping, or related processes is a strong advantage.

Technical proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Solid Edge is helpful.

ERP system experience (Plex preferred).

Must pass standard pre-employment screenings.
