Obsidian SaaS Security Rollout, Support, and Posture Drift Remediation.
Work Required
- Provide engineering support for the rollout and operationalization of the Obsidian SaaS security platform.
- Monitor and analyze posture drift alerts to identify critical and high-severity deviations.
- Engage with system/application owners to ensure timely remediation of posture drift findings.
- Assist with remediation activities, tracking progress, and validating resolution of identified issues.
- Support integration of Obsidian with existing enterprise security monitoring and reporting tools.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, escalate cases as needed, and work with the vendor to resolve problems.
- Contribute to process improvement, reporting, and automation efforts related to Obsidian adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Obsidian policies and controls are aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards.
Overview
The Obsidian Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for supporting the rollout and day-to-day operations of the Obsidian SaaS security platform. A primary focus of this role is to identify, track, and drive remediation of critical and high-severity posture drifts by engaging directly with system and application owners. This role will ensure that security gaps are closed quickly and consistently, reducing enterprise risk exposure. In addition to posture management, the engineer will provide technical support, troubleshoot platform issues, and coordinate with the vendor as needed. Strong experience in SaaS security operations, remediation coordination, and posture management is required.
