Senior Application Developer

Job Description
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) seeks a Senior Application Developer to support the CLEAN project. This role requires expertise in .NET-based development, system architecture, and enterprise application support. The candidate will define and maintain technical architecture, provide code reviews, support deployments, and ensure systems align with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical architecture design and system integration
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and Web API
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance and scalability
• Provide documentation, reporting, and after-hours support as needed
• Maintain compliance with security protocols and state regulations

Required Skills:

• 6+ years in full-stack Microsoft development (.NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server)
• 2+ years with .NET Core and Web API
• Strong background in OO principles and WCF services
• Proven ability to develop and document architecture and standards
• Experience with Visual Studio, TFS, and production environment support

Additional Requirements:

• 4-year college degree (required)
• Must pass enhanced criminal background check
• Must not use state-provided equipment outside the U.S.
• Must reside within the United States
