This highly dynamic role drives both early stage investigations and large-scale research projects to develop new health technologies. Description

A successful Health Study Scientist will have excellent analytical and communication skills, strong ability to rapidly assess user experience considerations, and will thrive in a high performance organization. This is a highly collaborative role that integrates social science principles, clinical + physiological expertise, and an engineering mindset into unique data collection projects.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Collaborating with algorithm development engineers, clinical stakeholders, and regulatory experts to refine data needs into a methodical and user-centric research protocolCrafting a variety of intersecting research questions that power multiple programsDefining study demographic and population requirementsWorking both independently and in collaboration with highly technical teams on accelerated timelinesAdvocating for an excellent user experience that balances algorithm data needs with technical tools, operational impacts, and participant considerationsValidate data collection plans using gold-standard reference devicesIntegrating multiple research modalities like surveys, AB testing, or longitudinal data to craft an efficient dataset for engineering partnersMaking data driven recommendations across multiple research fields that have high impact to product developmentClearly communicating research findings to both technical and non-technical partner

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $125,800.00 and $229,400.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
