Principal Golang Engineer--Streaming Platform--Go/Kubernetes

One of the largest streaming platform organizations is looking to add a Principal Backend Engineer to their team! This org is responsible for streaming live sports, TV/Media broadcasts, and more. You'd be responsible for building features for their streaming platform. It is a full-time hybrid position (mostly remote work, 1 day a month) with offices in Downtown ATL and the suburbs.

This org is building out brand new backend teams that will be directly working on their streaming platforms, and there is definitely upward mobility to leadership in the future.

Required Skills & Experience

• Developing applications/API's in Golang
• Deployment experience in Kubernetes
• Significant experience with REST API/Open API dev
• Effective communication and ability to work cross-functionally with other teams
• Experience with Rust

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with Big Data
• Experience in a startup or fintech environment
• Experience working in a remote, distributed environment
• SaaS Experience
