Job Details

Our client, located in Columbus, OH, is currently in need of a PowerFlex Implementation Specialist for a 1 year contract. The consultant will work onsite in support of the deployment, configuration and support of PowerFlex with VMware and OpenShift virtualization in a heavily automated environment (Python scripting).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support PowerFlex solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Develop and maintain scripts using Python to automate tasks and improve efficiency - existing environment is heavily automated with Python
  • Utilize VMware and OpenShift virtualization technologies to deploy and manage applications
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders on PowerFlex implementation and usage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge sharing

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work onsite daily
  • Ability to pass a criminal, financial background check and drug screen
  • Strong PowerFlex experience
  • Experience with VMware and OpenShift hypervisors
  • Intermediate or better Python scripting experience
  • Ability to use Python develop automation scripts cross the PowerFlex API to complete various project tasks
  • Solid understanding of SAN, NAS and Object storage
