We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Operations Technician to support and operate our Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Microsoft Intune environment, as well as physical endpoints across the organization. This role partners closely with the Desktop Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure reliable delivery of end-user computing services worldwide. The ideal candidate will provide L3 support, contribute to engineering initiatives, and develop documentation including SOPs and runbooks for both technical teams and end users.
Role Responsibilities
Endpoint & Virtual Desktop Support
- Provide support for multiple Windows platforms across both physical and virtual environments (AVD).
- Manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments including image creation, VM deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Operate and support multiple standardized global desktop and laptop models.
Image, Patch, and Application Management
- Maintain and update desktop images; modify SCCM task sequences as required.
- Manage Microsoft and third-party patch deployments.
- Package, test, and deploy new software applications.
- Develop automated processes for software deployment, patching, and image management.
Engineering & Troubleshooting
- Provide L3 escalation support, including root cause and preventative analysis.
- Partner with Engineering teams to design and deploy solutions.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft AutoPilot deployments and Intune device management.
- Monitor and address endpoint alerts, including CyberArk notifications.
- Support PXE environments (1E products).
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain SOPs, technical documentation, and user-facing runbooks.
- Maintain and expand the internal Knowledge Base to uphold high-quality support standards.
- Provide guidance and direction to support teams on operational processes.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure high-quality delivery of End User Computing services across global teams.
- Work closely with Security and Compliance teams to validate application requests and maintain governance.
- Support ongoing improvement of endpoint security, application management, and operational efficiency.
Technical Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
- 5+ years experience as an Endpoint Operations Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, FSLogix, Active Directory, GPOs, and PowerShell.
- Expertise with SCCM (administration, patching, imaging, scripting, MSI packaging, automation).
- Experience developing and testing software packages (InstallShield or equivalent).
- Experience in day-to-day endpoint operations and escalation support.
- Skilled in VDI management (AVD preferred).
- Experience with Windows 10/11, group policy management, and Active Directory structure.
- Working knowledge of ITIL framework.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, batch, SQL, VBScript) is a plus.
- Expertise in Endpoint Protection Engineering.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Windows-based project management best practices.
- Prior experience providing desktop support and operational support within a large organization.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $55 - $65 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
