Title: Principal NetSuite Consultant
Location : 100% Remote

Pay Rate : $90-110/hour

A rapidly growing, innovative services organization is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior NetSuite Solutions Architect / Lead Consultant to spearhead a transformative, high-visibility project. This role is critical to the organization's operational future, focusing on migrating core business processes and building a new customer-facing digital platform on the NetSuite foundation.

The successful candidate will lead the strategy and execution of a complex, multi-phased project that involves:

1. Sunsetting a legacy platform that functions as the primary CRM and Order-to-Fulfillment (O2F) application, and consolidating these core business functions within NetSuite.

1. Architecting the back-end integration required to support a new custom UI layer built on React and Next.js to serve as the core e-commerce, B2B, and D2C customer interaction platform.

The NetSuite environment currently handles core financials (GL, AP, AR) as well as Inventory Management (IMS) and Order Management (OMS). This is a leadership position that requires deep expertise in NetSuite's full suite of capabilities, extensive experience with complex system integrations, and the ability to drive strategic business process and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the full lifecycle implementation of the NetSuite expansion and digital platform integration project.

• Develop the strategic roadmap for consolidating all CRM, O2F, and digital commerce functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and minimal business disruption.

• Function as the primary internal subject matter expert for NetSuite, coordinating between executive stakeholders, internal IT/business teams, and external development/implementation partners.

• Define and enforce NetSuite best practices and governance standards across all expanded modules and integrated systems.

Integration Architecture & Data Strategy

• Architect the full integration strategy between the custom UI layer (React/Next.js) and the NetSuite back-end (ERP, OMS, IMS, CRM).

• Deeply leverage NetSuite SuiteTalk (Web Services/APIs) and other integration methodologies to ensure robust, real-time data flow for inventory, pricing, order submission, customer data, and billing.

• Conduct detailed gap analysis between current state processes and future-state NetSuite capabilities.

• Oversee and execute the complex data migration strategy from the legacy system to NetSuite, ensuring data integrity for customers, orders, inventory, and historical transactions.

Functional & Technical Expertise

• Design and document the end-to-end integrated solution architecture within NetSuite, including custom records, fields, forms, and customizations (SuiteScript, SuiteFlow) required to support the high-volume e-commerce/B2B/D2C environment.

• Configure and customize NetSuite modules (CRM, Sales Force Automation, Order Management, Billing) to meet the requirements of the new front-end platform.

• Lead technical discussions regarding authentication, security, and scalability of the NetSuite integration points.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on NetSuite Consulting, Solution Architect, or Functional Lead experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations.

• Deep functional expertise in NetSuite ERP/Financials, CRM, Order Management System (OMS), and Inventory Management System (IMS).

• Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite integration architecture, specifically using SuiteTalk (Web Services) and RESTlets to facilitate external system connectivity.

• Proven experience successfully migrating core business functions (especially CRM/O2F) from a separate legacy platform into NetSuite.

• Strong understanding of SuiteScript (2.x), SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder for system customization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern headless commerce architecture and the data requirements for a React/Next.js front-end platform is highly preferred.

• Previous experience consulting or managing a project that involved building a custom UI layer or client-facing digital portal integrated with NetSuite.

• NetSuite Certifications (e.g., NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer, Administrator, or ERP Consultant).

• Experience in a high-volume B2B or D2C industry segment.
