Job Title: OpenShift Lead

Location: Dallas, TX or Bellevue, TX

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned OpenShift Lead to architect and implement enterprise-grade PaaS solutions using RedHat OpenShift on BareMetal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RedHat Advanced Cluster Management (RHACM), OpenShift Virtualization, and GitOps practices. You will be responsible for deploying and managing clusters, integrating cloud storage, and enabling self-service container platforms across hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, VMware, and OpenStack.

You will lead the design of highly available, multi-cloud OpenShift environments, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure robust DevOps practices. A strong understanding of Dell PowerEdge Servers, OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), Quay, Terraform, Ansible, and RedHat Advanced Cluster Security is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • RedHat certifications (e.g., RHCE, OpenShift Administrator) are a plus.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in OpenShift platform engineering.
  • Proven expertise in deploying OpenShift on BareMetal infrastructure.
  • Experience with RHACM, OpenShift Virtualization, ODF, Quay, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Exposure to Dell PowerEdge Servers, Ceph, Portworx, and Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) models.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and manage enterprise-scale deployments.
