PMO Project Manager (IT) – Hybrid (Harrisburg, PA)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Onsite Requirement: Three (3) days per week at the Commission’s headquarters
Position Overview
The PMO Project Manager (IT) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple information technology projects of varying size and complexity. This role ensures projects are executed in alignment with organizational objectives and in compliance with established PMO standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple concurrent IT projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure
Develop, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs, issue logs, and status reports
Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, templates, and governance processes
Partner with business owners and analysts to define, refine, and manage project scope
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
Manage change requests and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained
Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders
Provide regular project status updates to sponsors, stakeholders, and PMO leadership
Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery of contractual commitments
Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after project completion
Document recommendations to improve project delivery and PMO processes
Required Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing IT projects of varying size and complexity
Demonstrated expertise in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working within a structured PMO environment
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience with ServiceNow, specifically Idea, Project, and Demand modules
Experience delivering Enterprise Business Solutions, particularly SAP projects
Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices and methodologies
