IT Application Support Specialist - Manufacturing Focus (Onsite Role)

We're looking for a curious, driven, and adaptable IT professional to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Whether you have a with a degree in IT and hands-on help desk experience, or a seasoned troubleshooter with deep roots in manufacturing systems, we want to hear from you.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You'll be supporting users directly, guiding them through application usage and process-related questions, and diving deep into technical issues-sometimes partnering with vendors and working in test environments to find solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for applications related to procurement, production scheduling, product testing, inventory, invoicing, and sales reporting.
  • Troubleshoot application issues by collaborating with end users, vendors, Tier 2 support, and developers.
  • Retrieve and manage data across various systems.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Write and execute test cases to validate system results.
  • Document processes and train end users on best practices.
  • Work with urgency to resolve issues and improve user experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment -either through help desk support or troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Familiarity with SQL and integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, "grey" environment where solutions aren't always obvious.
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative approach.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
