Job Details
Job Title: Senior Java Developer - UI
Location: Seattle WA - Locals only
Duration: 12 plus months contract with possible extension
Required Skills:
- Top 3-5 must have skills
- 70% UI Skills and 30% server side
- UI - JavaScript, frameworks like Angular, React and Vue.JS is added advantage and looking for first.
- HTML, ES6, CSS, JS libraries and strong.
- Someone who has had working knowledge with Java, Spring boot.
- Someone who can hit the ground running.
- Looking for someone who is more technically sound than anything else.
Nice to haves
- Working with containers is advantage - Kubernetes and containerization of UI images into the containers would help.
- Authentication Background, Banking / Financial Industry background.
- ADA Compliant applications and how to build them.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- UI Team in Authentication Group and investment banking.
- Trying to diversify resources to have skills for UI and API development and foresee that API dev work in 2026 and get head start.
- Anything client facing by Authentication is what his team supports -- second factor, log ins, etc.
Interview Process - How many interviews and who will do them?
- 1st round is general screening with Hiring manager -- phone or Webex
- 2nd round who will have a panel to work with tech screening and wants them to come onsite.
- Start date? Early December if possible -- trying to hire asap
