Job Title: Azure Solution Architects

Location: Chicago, IL 60604 (Hybrid 3 days/week OR Remote)

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Through 5/31/25 with the option to extend

Role:

Looking for an Azure Solution Architect who has deep expertise in design, build, deployment, and maintenance of critical business applications inside the Azure Cloud. The candidate should have proven expertise in designing end-to-end solutions for greenfield applications as well as migrating existing on-prem applications to MS Azure. Development experience of working with a high-level language would also be required.

Partner with Team Leads in each business unit to provide direction on how to approach the migration process.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of overall development experience with proven expertise in delivering complex projects by collaborating with multiple cross functional teams.
  • Over 4 years of experience in working with MS Azure with solid exposure to the entire Azure ecosystem
  • Ability to create IAAS using technologies like Pulumi, Terraform and CloudFront.
  • Proven experience migrating C++ & .NET/.NET CORE applications to Azure.
  • A proven Security, DevOps and VM background to leverage multiple approaches in the migration.
  • Strong understanding of Azure backbone infra, including strong understanding of VPCs, Transit Gateway, etc.
  • A solid background in relational/document-based databases and associated deployment and maintenance in Azure.
  • Looking for a hands-on person who not only has theoretical Azure knowledge but can help us implement solutions.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Designing end-to-end solutions for onboarding greenfield N-tier applications to Azure.
  • Partner with Team Leads in each business unit to provide direction on how to approach the migration process.
  • Implementing server-side modules using the tech stack chosen for the product.
  • Creating/working with existing DevOps pipeline to deploy new artifacts to Azure.
  • Working directly with business stakeholders and analysts to understand and refine the requirements.
