Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in ST. Paul, MN. Responsible for designing and implementing complex ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake, while optimizing data workflows and integrations.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:
- Design and develop complex ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory, ensuring seamless integration with Azure Data Lake, on-prem, and cloud data sources.
- Build and optimize data pipelines and transformations leveraging Snowflake and SQL Server, including writing advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
- Develop and deploy SSIS packages for complex ETL processes, including configuration and performance tuning.
- Create and manage datasets in Power BI, implementing DAX calculations and supporting data visualization requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, using Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of data workflows across platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, SSIS, and Snowflake with proven ability to design and deploy complex ETL workflows.
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL, Power BI (dataset creation), and Agile methodology, with experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD processes.
