Job Description Our client in the banking industry is hiring for an Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer in Charlotte, NC. This is a mid-level position looking for a candidate who has a strong information security engineering background with a desire to leverage their skills and take part in evaluations of various security challenges.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about security infrastructure, identity management, and automation.

Hybrid in Charlotte, NC Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure deployment and updates
- Experience with cloud SDKs - Google Cloud Platform preferred, but Azure or AWS also acceptable
- GitOps familiarity - managing infrastructure/config using Git workflows
- Jenkins experience - reviewing build pipelines and error logs
- Python scripting (or similar scripting experience)
- Solid understanding of IAM principles and cloud security best practices (least privilege, roles, etc.)
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:
- Work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Terraform: ~50% - Primary tool for infrastructure automation
- Cloud Platforms (Google Cloud Platform/Azure/AWS): ~30% - Working within cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
- GitOps, Jenkins, and Scripting (Python): ~20% - Supporting CI/CD and configuration management
- 80% Hands On
- 20% Team Collaboration
