The IT SAP Solutions Architect - Procure to Pay (P2P) is responsible for leading technical designing, implementing and optimizing SAP solutions that support the procure to pay process. This role ensures that SAP systems align with business goals, streamline procurement operations, and integrate seamlessly with finance and supply chain functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads the design and architecture design of SAP P2P solutions, including material management, supplier relationship management, Ariba and Manhattan.
- Collaborates with Business Process Owners and Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translates them into SAP solutions
- Defines and integrates other SAP modules and third party-systems as applicable
- Oversee end-to-end implementation of SAP P2P projects, including blueprinting, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Ensures compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements and consults with process stakeholders to ensure compliance
- Provides consultation to other technology teams and business teams ensuring solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and industry regulations
- Identifies opportunities to optimize procurement workflows and reduce costs through automation and analytics.
- Stays current with SAP innovations (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori, Ariba) and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
Job Requirements:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Finance or related fields
- SAP Certifications such as System Administration, Finance, or Architecture preferred
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in SAP Finance with at least 2 years in Solutions Architecture or lead technical role in SAP P2P implementation
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large SAP projects in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience in deployment in complex on-premise and hybrid environment
- Experience in supply chain industry a plus
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Deep understanding of SAP Material Management, Ariba and integration with FI/CO
- Proficiency in SAP Fiori apps related to procurement
- Familiar with middleware and integration tools
- Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively regardless of audience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal skills that demonstrate relationship building and collaboration
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

- This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
