Job Title: Business Analyst Finance & Payments (Credit/Debit Card Experience)
Location: Alpharetta, GA , Hybrid Onsite

Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Analyst with a strong background in financial operations and credit/debit card processing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with payment platforms, transaction reconciliations, and financial reporting, and will be responsible for optimizing and supporting end-to-end card payment processes while driving business improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize business processes related to credit and debit card payments, including transaction flow, reconciliation, settlements, chargebacks, and disputes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, product, compliance, engineering) to align payment operations with business goals.

Perform data analysis and reporting on financial transactions, KPIs, and customer payment behavior.

Work closely with payment providers (Visa, Mastercard, acquiring banks, gateways, etc.) to manage relationships and resolve operational issues.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, NACHA).

Document business and technical requirements for payment system enhancements or integrations.

Lead or support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for payment-related system upgrades or launches.

Identify and mitigate risks in payment processing and financial reporting.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.

3+ years of experience in a business analyst, finance, or payments operations role.

Solid understanding of credit/debit card processing, authorization flows, settlement, and chargeback procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Experience working with payment processors, acquiring banks, and/or financial institutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
