IT Project Coordinator – Change Management (Remote)
Our client, an energy supplier and community leader, is looking for a Project Coordinator for their Portland, OR location. In this role, you will provide project coordination related to change management and IT compliance.
This is a temporary 2 - 3 month contract position with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement, depending on your preference. If this opportunity is well-aligned with your experience and goals, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator:
- Review and validate change documentation including testing results, implementation plans, and backout strategies.
- Assess change risk using standardized tools (e.g., Change Risk Calculator) and determine appropriate approval workflows.
- Coordinate with testers, and implementers to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Provide formal approval for production changes and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
- Track implementation outcomes and ensure all documentation is attached to the Change Request (CR) in the ITSM system.
- Support Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews and maintain compliance with internal change control policies.
- Maintain accurate records of change activities for audit and compliance purposes.
Skills and Qualifications for Project Coordinator:
- 3+ years’ work experience in Project management.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change control processes.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines with limited supervision.
