Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Techno-Functional Consultant with 6 + Yrs of experience to support ongoing operations of our Oracle EBS 12.2.3 platform. The consultant will provide L2/L3 support for finance modules, drive root cause analysis (RCA), ensure issue resolution, and participate in change control and documentation efforts. Deep expertise in both functional and technical aspects of Oracle Finance is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide techno-functional support for Oracle EBS Finance modules: AP, AR, GL, FA, EBTax, Vertex, OneSource, and Cash Management.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and defects across L2/L3 within SLA timelines.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical incidents.
Create and maintain functional and technical documentation, SOPs, and support guides.
Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings and follow change control processes.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure accurate issue tracking and timely resolution.
Work with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
Provide support during peak periods like Finance Close and Cyber 6.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and offshore/onshore resources for seamless issue management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process and performance enhancements.
Mandatory:
Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2.3 Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, EBTax, Vertex, OneSource, Cash Management).
Hands-on experience in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, ADF/OAF, and Workflow Builder.
Ability to understand and support customizations, extensions, and integrations.
Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Working knowledge of integrations with third-party systems such as Vertex and external tax engines.
Experience in supporting multinational, multilingual deployments (English, Chinese, Japanese).
Strong understanding of financial close cycles and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and provide weekend/holiday support during critical periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
Global delivery model with follow-the-sun support coverage.
Offshore team members must ensure timely regional handoffs and 24x7 coverage for P1/P2 incidents.
Weekend and holiday availability required during Finance Close and critical business periods
