Role: Technical Trainer

What You ll Do

• Train families, child care providers, agency staff, and EEC employees on the CCFA software.
• Break down technical info so everyone can understand.
• Make materials friendly for people who don't speak English fluently.
• Deliver live and virtual trainings.
• Work with others to improve training and measure success.
• Use adult learning techniques to make training fun and effective.
• Help manage tech support tickets via ServiceNow.
• Create accessible, self-paced training content using tools like Microsoft 365, Zoom, and GoToMeeting.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience in teaching or tech training.
• Strong writing and design skills for learning materials.
• Good understanding of how adults learn.
• Comfortable leading both in-person and online trainings.
• Experience working with diverse communities.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Familiar with ServiceNow or similar systems.
• Understand financial systems related to government programs.
• Able to include financial topics in training for beginners.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Background in public benefits (especially child care, education, or health).
• Experience with CMS tools to manage training content.
• Skilled in e-learning tools like Articulate.
• Government work experience.
• Familiar with Jira for project tracking and Agile team collaboration.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and Agile ceremonies.
