Title: Sr. .NET Developer
Location: Addison TX
Duration: Full-time
Compensation: $90,000 to $120,000 yearly salary + benefits

Skillset / Experience:
The .Net Software Development Analyst II is responsible for the review, analysis, and modification of programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems in accordance with project plans and specifications. The Analyst II is responsible for providing accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks in accordance with Information Systems standards and methodologies.

This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management.
Responsibilities
- Work with end users and other Information Services staff to develop criteria for specific phases of assigned projects, and ensure proper testing of all developed solutions
- Assist in the design and development of database schemas
- Lead the development of small applications with minimal supervision
- Develop software tasks in accordance with Information System standards and methodologies
- Provide technical mentoring to the more junior developers
- Address help desk tickets relating to development issues
- Develop reports, upon request, utilizing various report-writing tools in all applications
- Ensure management awareness of problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding documented targets
- Review outstanding issues on a daily basis to assure that troubleshooting and resolutions are current
- Recognize potential areas where policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion. Submit recommendations as
- Participate in relevant information-sharing activities
- Monitor and report on any security violations related to the unwarranted access to corporate data
- Ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain awareness of the rapidly changing environment and recommend cost efficient techniques
- Create, maintain and update disaster recovery procedures when changes in hardware or applications occur
- Ensure all changes comply with change management policies and procedures
- Learn new software development technologies and environments

Qualifications
Education/Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar field from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
- In lieu of undergraduate degree, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
- 5+ years working experience in a software development or production support role with at least 4+ years of application development experience.
- Has proficient knowledge of C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET, .Net Core, Web API, MVC, SQL Server etc.
- Experience in GUI development using various user interface components like Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, Angular, Knockout JS, jQuery, HTML, CSS, LINQ, AJAX etc.
- Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and its related technologies like Web API, Web Services (SOAP and Rest), WSDL, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Cloud development/solution experience in Azure or AWS, relational database expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Sybase, or other technologies
- Must have experience in Business Process Improvement, Problem Management/Preventive Maintenance and Analytical & Conceptual Problem Solving.

- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture and knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML, )
- Understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS,
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Working knowledge around Azure Functions / Azure web applications preferred
