Job Title: SAP Data Conversion Consultant (Functional Make / QA / PTP / Master Data)
Location: New Jersey + Remote
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Conversion Consultant with strong functional expertise in one or more of the following domains: Make (Manufacturing), Quality Assurance (QA), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), or Master Data. This role will support a major SAP implementation project by leading data migration efforts and ensuring successful data transition from legacy systems into SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive end-to-end data conversion activities including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
  • Collaborate with business process leads and SMEs to understand data requirements and ensure accurate mapping.
  • Support data cleansing, enrichment, and reconciliation activities.
  • Utilize SAP tools (e.g., LSMW, BAPIs, IDOCs) for data load execution.
  • Develop functional specifications for data migration and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for migrated data.
  • Provide documentation and post-go-live support related to data conversion.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of SAP data conversion experience in implementation or transformation projects.
  • Functional knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
  • Make (Manufacturing Processes)
  • Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Procure-to-Pay (PTP)
  • Master Data Management
  • Strong understanding of SAP data structures and business processes.
  • Experience with ETL processes and SAP data load tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with S/4HANA migrations.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.
