Job Details
Requirements -
+ 3+ years of experience programming Building Automation Systems
+ Experience with BACnet, Lon, Niagara, Honeywell, and/or Distech
+ Familiarity with mechanical system operations
+ Ability to distinguish between mechanical and control-related issues
+ Solid understanding of IP-based networks and third-party integrations
+ Strong communication skills and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ Mechanical engineering degree a plus, but not required
+ Comfortable traveling to local job sites as needed
Responsibilities -
+ Develop control logic and automation programs for HVAC systems
+ Perform start-up, commissioning, and point-to-point verification
+ Review and approve engineered control drawings
+ Support field teams during installation and testing
+ Respond to urgent troubleshooting requests from clients
+ Collaborate on internal standards and continuous improvement
+ Work with engineers and commissioning agents to validate performance
+ Design user interface graphics and optimize the user experience
+ Lead customer training sessions on system usage and maintenance
+ Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols
+ Troubleshoot IP-based controls and optimize system performance
