Role: AV/Conference Room Technology Analyst
Location: Onsite - Washington DC
Duration: 6 to 12 Months

We are seeking an experienced AV/Collaboration Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Teams Rooms and enterprise conference room technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and operational support of modern AV solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration experiences for global users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and support Microsoft Teams Rooms (primary platform) along with Surface Hub, PolyCom, Crestron, and Biamp solutions.
  • Commission and integrate new conference room systems, ensuring best practices for video, audio, and room control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV/UC issues, working closely with vendors and internal teams.
  • Manage AV-related incidents, requests, and changes via ServiceNow in alignment with ITIL processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to modernize legacy conferencing solutions and migrate to Teams-based environments.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Provide input on AV roadmaps, upgrades, and future collaboration technology improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms, Surface Hub, and major AV platforms (PolyCom, Crestron, Biamp).
  • Strong understanding of AV integration, room control, video/audio troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.
  • CTS certification and/or AV vendor certifications (Poly, Crestron, Biamp, Microsoft) required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global IT environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AV system modernization and migration from legacy platforms to Microsoft Teams Rooms.
  • Knowledge of Zoom Rooms or other UC platforms (secondary).
  • Scripting or automation exposure for AV/UC solutions a plus.
