This does require in office 5 days a week. I believe the specific location is in South Lake Union Seattle, WA
V&V role
MUST HAVE semiconductor experience.
Context and Current Status:
- Client is currently in an information-gathering phase, analyzing cost and structuring for upcoming hardware security engineering needs.
- Staffing need: individual for security verification of hardware at contract manufacturing facilities.
- The roles pertain primarily to hardware verification and validation (V&V) with an emphasis of security engineering and quality assurance:
- Key responsibilities:
- Sample and verify statistically relevant hardware from manufacturing partners.
- Ensure secure implementation (installation of key material, correct configuration, component verification, vulnerability detection).
- Ensure no vulnerabilities exist compromising client s security bar.
- Special expertise required: semiconductor implementation, systems-on-a-chip, FPGAs.
- May support both Shipyard and related work.
- Workload estimate:
- Each engineer to assess about 7 units over 2026 (targeting a total of 14 device assessments).
- Work to be lean and fast-paced, requiring high capability and on-site location

They will be performing Verification and Validation of proprietary IoT devices which cannot leave the lab.
Expected to 12 months with opportunities to extend.
