Summary
The PNT Systems Engineer (Position, Navigation, and Timing) will be responsible for PNT systems design, development, and testing. You will work in a team with software developers, hardware engineers, and test engineers to ensure the successful development and integration of PNT systems.

The PNT Systems Engineer (Position, Navigation, and Timing) will be responsible for PNT systems design, development, and testing. You will work in a team with software developers, hardware engineers, and test engineers to ensure the successful development and integration of PNT systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PNT system architecture and requirements
- Conduct system-level analysis and modeling of PNT systems
- Develop and maintain system-level requirements traceability matrices (RTMs)
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to develop PNT systems
- Conduct system-level integration testing, analysis, and validation of PNT systems
- Define and document system-level interfaces and protocols
- Ensure system-level requirements and performance specifications are met
- Develop and maintain system-level test plans and procedures
- Evaluate new technologies and industry standards related to PNT systems
- Provide technical support to other team members and customers as required
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system architecture, design and testability
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to management and customers
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of experience in PNT systems engineering and development
- Active DoD security clearance required
- Experience with system-level design and analysis of PNT systems
- Experience with system-level testing, analysis, and validation of PNT systems
- PNT Systems standards & protocol knowledge including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou
- Familiarity with system modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar
- Familiarity with system-level requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar
- Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or similar
