Position Summary

Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations is seeking a Computer Integrated Manufacturing Engineer for its tire manufacturing facility located in Morrison, TN.

You will support the IT team and plant by developing and maintaining software applications that support our tire manufacturing processes. This includes designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. Writing code, conducting testing, and collaborating with other teams to ensure the performance of IT systems supporting plant operations.

The Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations plant in Warren County, Tennessee produces truck and bus radial tires, including premium steer and wide base. The nearly 2 million square-foot facility employs more than 1,100 teammates as Operating Technicians, Safety and Health Managers, Quality Assurance, Engineers, and IT professionals.

Responsibilities

Works on computer integrated manufacturing problems of moderate scope and assists with projects or processes while receiving general instructions from higher level professionals
Analyzes the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements
Designs the network architecture and performs technical analysis of software, hardware, network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems
Ensures compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and protocols
Other duties as assigned
