We are seeking a Scrum Master who combines traditional agile facilitation expertise with technical automation capabilities and analytical delivery management skills. This role expands beyond conventional scrum mastery to encompass project analysis, process automation, and comprehensive delivery oversight across multiple parallel initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Scrum Master / Agile Facilitation & Team Leadership

• Facilitates the sizing of stories during planning sprints, backlog grooming, and sprint planning sessions for 1-2 teams
• Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business owners, product owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
• Facilitates comprehensive Agile ceremonies with enhanced focus on delivery analytics and cross-team dependencies
• Uses historical velocity and planned velocity data to assist teams with realistic commitments and delivery forecasting
• Utilizes the team definition of done to guide sprint commitments while monitoring broader delivery impacts

Scrum Master / Delivery Management

• Expanded Delivery Focus: Analyzes delivery patterns, cascade impacts, and cross functional dependencies across multiple parallel workstreams.
• Trend Analysis: Monitors work progression against planned trajectories, identifying when activities drift off-topic or deviate from delivery goals.
• Multi-Stream Coordination: Maintains visibility and coordination across numerous parallel tasks and activities, providing comprehensive status updates to stakeholders.
• Reporting & Metrics: Develops and maintains advanced reporting dashboards that provide insights into delivery health, team performance, and project risk indicators.
• Effectively utilizes progress indicators including burn-down/burn-up charts, velocity trends and custom delivery analytics.
• Process Automation & Technical Integration
• Python Development: Designs and implements Python-based automation solutions to streamline business processes and eliminate manual inefficiencies.

• Power Automate Solutions: Creates and maintains Microsoft Power Automate workflows to connect systems, automate routine tasks, and improve operational efficiency.
• SQL & Data Management: Leverages SQL skills to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making and automated reporting
• Business Process Automation: Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements automated solutions that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Collaborates with business teams to integrate automation solutions into existing processes and workflows.
• Continuous Improvement & Mentorship
• Uses collaborative engagement techniques enhanced by data-driven insights.
• Effectively facilitates retrospectives with focus on both process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Looks for opportunities to teach and mentor teams on both agile practices and automation capabilities.
• Participates in setting best practices for delivery management and process automation.
• Generates communication, process, and educational plans for change management incorporating automated notification systems.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Programming: Proficiency in Python for business process automation and data analysis
• Automation Platforms: Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, including workflow design and integration.
• Database Management: Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
• Data Visualization: Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or similar tools for creating delivery dashboards.
• Agile Tools: Expertise in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar agile project management platforms

• Analytical & Communication Skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and provide comprehensive status reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
