Job Title: Palo Alto Cortex Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 320 Hours Contract

Description:

  • Need to have Palo Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) certification
  • Preference in having an AWS security specialty certification
  • Preference for having ServiceNow implementation specialist experience
  • At least five years of experience with hands-on Cortex CSPM implementation
  • Deep expertise in Cortex CSPM especially in multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) configuration and integration with XSIAM and ServiceNow
  • Strong knowledge of both Azure and AWS environments particularly how Cortex CSPM monitors and secures resources within these environments.
  • Demonstrable experience integrating CSPM with SIEM/XDR tools (preferably Cortex XSIAM).
  • Experience with integrating findings into Cortex XSIAM - Designing and building custom dashboards
  • Deep experience in configuring policies across AWS and Azure - Ability to configure and validate workflows in ServiceNow for alert triage and remediation
  • Knowledge of how to connect Cortex CSPM findings into ServiceNow; test workflows during UAT to validate alerts are functioning as intended
  • Does not require deep ServiceNow developer expertise (i.e., no advanced scripting) but must be confident in configuration and integration activities

  • The candidate doesn't have to be an AWS or Azure architect, but they must know enough to understand how Cortex maps into AWS (IAM, Config, GuardDuty, SecurityHub) and Azure (Defender for Cloud, Entra ID)
  • Candidate should recognize how workloads (VMs, containers, serverless functions) appear in Cortex and validate CSPM coverage.
  • Essentially, the candidate's Azure and AWS technical skills is contextual to Cortex CSPM.
