Averro is seeking a highly capable Sys Admin to support our Spokane Client s operations. This position will serve as the primary escalation point for the on-site Service Desk Technician, handling complex and technical issues across a variety of systems. When escalation volume is low, this Sys Admin will act as a Service Desk Technician, maintaining ticket throughput and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has deep technical experience with Okta, Microsoft Intune, print server environments, and endpoint management, as well as a strong understanding of enterprise IT operations. The role requires critical thinking, expert troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills to deliver consistent support to our Spokane Client.
We are looking for someone who is not intimidated by unfamiliar technology but rather energized by the opportunity to dive into new software and hardware challenges with confidence and curiosity.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for the Spokane Client s onsite Service Desk Technician.
Manage user access, SSO configurations, and MFA settings within Okta.
Oversee Windows device provisioning, compliance, and application deployment via Microsoft Intune.
Support and troubleshoot printing infrastructure through PrinterLogic and Windows print servers.
Monitor and manage endpoints using Datto RMM, including software patching and deployment.
Respond to and resolve complex IT tickets while maintaining detailed documentation.
Provide day-to-day Service Desk support during periods of low engineering workload.
Assist with O365 mailbox management, distribution groups, licensing, and security.
Support iOS device management and enrollment using MDM tools such as Maas360.
Maintain system documentation, procedures, and knowledge base content.
Collaborate with external vendors and escalate issues when necessary.
Advise and support improvements to IT workflows and Service Desk operations.
Responsibilities
Provide clear documentation and user guidance for iPad setup and use in a corporate environment.
Manage MDM compliance policies, device profiles, and app deployment through Maas360.
Troubleshoot iPad login issues, Apple ID conflicts, and device enrollment problems.
Lead configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of Apple iPads using IBM Maas360 and Apple Business Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:
3+ years of experience in a Service Desk, IT Engineering, or Systems Administration role.
Expert-level knowledge of Okta, including identity access management and app provisioning.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management.
Proficient in supporting print infrastructure including PrinterLogic and print servers.
Strong understanding of Office 365 and Azure AD user and group management.
Experience with RMM tools such as Datto RMM.
Familiarity with mobile device management platforms and iOS administration.
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and support junior technicians.
