Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Anchorage, AK / Remote (AKT, PST, or MST only)
Employment Type: 6+ Month W2 Contract-to-Hire (No C2C or sponsorship)

Job Description:
Talent Groups is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and implement scalable, high-performance solutions that align with evolving business needs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Salesforce Business Analyst and Salesforce Administrator to ensure seamless integration, optimization, and maintenance of Salesforce products. Your work will directly support strategic initiatives, improve user experience, and enhance operational efficiency.

This is a hands-on role that requires both deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation. You will play a key part in automating processes, improving data integrity, and delivering a secure, user-friendly CRM platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Configure Salesforce features (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes) and manage security (roles, profiles, permissions).
  • Build integrations via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi); maintain data quality and batch processes.
  • Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, support UAT, and manage deployments with CI/CD, Salesforce DX, or change sets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and documentation.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases; recommend enhancements to improve usability, scalability, and ROI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including technical leadership on complex projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Proven track record in designing enterprise-grade solutions and mentoring developers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certifications.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, version control (Git), and Salesforce Industries (Communications Cloud).
  • OmniStudio experience (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures).
  • Telecommunications industry background.
  • Application Architect or Integration Architecture Designer certifications.
