Job Summary:
We are looking for a physically capable and technically skilled Desktop Support professional to assist with hardware handling, equipment installation, and vendor coordination within our data centre environment. This role requires hands-on support, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety protocols in a high-demand setting.
Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support
Job Description:
- Mostly lifting and shifting of mechanical equipment's in the datacentre.
- Communicates professionally with associates and clients through email, instant messages, phone, and in person.
- Supervise / escort cabling companies, as needed, including troubleshooting problems and new installations.
- Facilities support Rack and stack
- Work within a server room environment. Potentially high ambient background noise.
- Occasional heavy lifting required. Lifting server equipment and moving around server cabinets and other accessories.
- Perform routine required inspections of equipment placed high up in server cabinets and racks.
