AS400 Cobol Programmer
- Immediate Long term contract. There might be a possibility of Direct Hire down the road
- Client is in LOMBARD, Illinois. PREFER candidates in the area
- They are a renowned health insurance company.
- It is mostly REMOTE with maybe occasional visit to the office sometimes depending
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 7 years experience
- Online and batch programs using Cobol on the iSeries (AS400)
- Understanding of EDI / LDEX processing
- Skills COBOL, RPG, CL, DB2, SQL, QUERY400, ROBOT, SFTP, IMPLEMENTER
- Responsible for end-to-end development and Maintenance of software
Duties include on-call support, analysis & debugging, documentation and testing
The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($45-50). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
