Job Title: Senior ASIC Design Engineer - Micro-Architecture & RTL Design
Location: Remote

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled ASIC design engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of advanced display technologies. The candidate will work closely with a team of designers, architects, and verification engineers, leading efforts in micro-architecture and system design to meet diverse performance and scalability requirements. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and ensuring high-quality development through rigorous validation and troubleshooting processes.


Key Responsibilities

Display Technology Development

  • Develop well-designed and qualified display features based on high-level architectural requirements.
  • Lead micro-architecture and design efforts, ensuring functionality, performance, power efficiency, scalability, and testability.

Specifications and Validation

  • Timely create functional specifications, implementation documentation, and detailed test plans.
  • Develop and execute validation plans, proactively addressing any issues during development stages.

Pre- and Post-Layout Issue Resolution

  • Resolve pre-layout and post-layout timing and functional eco challenges.

Team Mentorship

  • Mentor and support junior engineers in completing their tasks effectively.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers, architects, and verification engineers to ensure seamless system design and implementation.


Preferred Experience

Must-Have

  • 7+ years of experience in ASIC design work.
  • Deep knowledge of the design process, including design specification, architecture definition, micro-architecture, RTL design, functional verification, synthesis, timing, and formal verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
  • Experience working with multi-clock domain designs.
  • Familiarity with IP development.

  • Knowledge of video/display standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
