Job Description
This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.
This posting is a full-time fully in-office position for applicants who will live and work in the Omaha, NE area. Relocation to this area will be required for applicants outside of this residence area.
Under direct supervision, the systems and development analyst conducts analysis, creates system specifications, develops, tests and implements engineering, scientific and business applications, operating systems, and file/database servers. Utilizes existing or new technology in the automation of processes. Evaluates software packages and provides recommendations to management.

Responsibilities
- Design the hardware, operating system, data model, and system integration for complex enterprise content management and web content management systems.
- Provide technical assistance and consulting support to clients.
- Maintain systems and the hosted services through monitoring, data backup, troubleshooting and proactive security measures.
- Manage different types of complex technologies and services in a heterogeneous environment including those outside the content management system, such as infrastructure, directories, web servers, and third party applications.
- Responsible for system-wide complex components and projects.
- Influence at account level and at customer management level.
- Solve unique complex problems.
- Develop and write requirements, specifications, and proposals and price out projects.
- Resolve escalated issues/problems with broad knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or a related field; or the equivalent combination education and experience. (typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree)
- Internship in systems analysis or software application development preferred for Sys and Development Analyst 1
- A minimum of two or more years of experience in systems analysis or software application development for Sys and Development Analyst 2.
- A minimum of five years of experience in systems analysis or software application development for Sys and Development Analyst 3.
- A minimum of six years of experience in systems analysis or software application development for Sr Sys and Development Analyst.
- Exposure to enterprise content management applications, web content management applications, servers and operating systems, networking, database management systems, and SQL.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at a complex level
- Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing purchase justifications, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with peers and upper management.
- Demonstrated experience applying complex principles in business applications.
- Project Management skills, including the ability to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets and to determine requirements, specifications, schedules, and deliverables.
Preferences:
- Experience with Oracle WebCenter Content preferred.
- Experience managing applications in a Windows Active Directory domain with VMWare virtual hardware preferred.
- Experience with managing applications in an Linux environment preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in an environment with similar size and complexity preferred.
