Job Description
The Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS) is seeking a Senior Fuse Architect with a strong background in Java development. The ideal contractor will have extensive experience in ESB system planning, design, and integration using JBoss Fuse, Java/J2EE, and Spring/Hibernate. The resource will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, define new architectural direction, enhance application performance, and support issue resolution and process refinement.

- 10+ years Java Development using Java 8+ JDK with strong Object-Oriented Design
- Advanced experience designing, implementing, and enhancing large-scale enterprise applications
- Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) development experience
- Proficiency in SOAP web services
- Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries)
- Hands-on experience collaborating with customers/stakeholders to gather business requirements
- Ability to define and implement new technical directions, participate in issue resolution, and support process improvement
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Dependency Injection / IOC / SOLID / Spring Boot)
- Experience with REST web services including API development (API gateways, microservices, pub/sub, event-driven architectures
