- Location: On-site at 1901 W Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL
TELESTAFF TESTER JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Job: Responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the Telestaff system. This includes designing, executing, and documenting test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development and business teams to improve system performance.
- Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manages a team of selected testing group (Timekeepers, managers/supervisors, end users, super users), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans for Telestaff (Police & Fire), ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
- Build test cases, test scripts, and gather test data, ensuring thorough testing of all Telestaff functionalities, including functional, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing.
- Work closely with business analysts, the senior project manager, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business needs.
- Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely communication of issues and status updates to stakeholders and the senior project manager. Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies and tools, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, results, and quality metrics to senior project manager and project team.
- Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing sessions for team members and stakeholders on testing processes, tools, and Telestaff functionalities.
- Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong knowledge of Telestaff.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proven experience testing Telestaff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with testing tools and automation solutions.
- Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Telestaff functionality.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 3 years of systems development, testing and/or business experience.
