Description
We're looking for a versatile and self-motivated Graphic Designer to join our client's team as the sole in-house design expert. This role is ideal for someone with solid creative fundamentals, strong layout instincts, and the ability to juggle a wide range of projects while still meeting deadlines. Project can range from offer letter toolkits, to candidate-facing social content, internal decks, and event materials.
You'll partner closely with recruitment marketing and internal comms to bring culture, values, and hiring story to life across digital and print formats. If you love being the go-to creative resource and enjoy seeing your work make an impact quickly, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
-Design visual assets to support employer branding, recruitment campaigns, internal events, and employee programs
-Take design briefs and turn them into clear, engaging concepts
-Create high-quality layouts and visual stories for the full candidate experience
-Build social media graphics and templates (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram) for hiring campaigns, spotlights, and culture content
-Design assets for virtual and in-person recruiting events: signage, email banners, handouts, and swag
-Develop easy-to-use templates and systems for team members to self-serve basic design needs
-Maintain visual consistency and brand integrity across all TA communications
-Prioritize and manage multiple requests across the TA team with minimal oversight
-Proactively track down missing assets, source inspiration, or ping stakeholders when clarification is needed

Requirements:
-3 to 5 years of professional design experience
-Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
-Strong portfolio showing clean layouts, professional branding, and a variety of deliverables
-Experience working from brief to concept - can digest copy and objectives to create thoughtful design solutions
-Comfortable using Canva and Figma for scalable, templated workflows
-Strong layout and typography skills, with a keen eye for visual hierarchy and attention to detail
-Experience designing for social media (esp. LinkedIn + Instagram) and optimizing for digital performance
-Comfortable creating branded templates for recurring use (presentations, recruiting flyers, etc.)
-Ability to work independently, ask smart questions, and deliver high-quality assets without hand-holding
-Clear communicator who can explain design choices to non-creatives and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
-Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, Jira, or Monday.com
-Self-starter who seeks out the next task or opportunity to add value - not waiting for a to-do list
Bonus Skills:
-Motion or animation skills (After Effects, Canva motion, or similar)
-An interest or willingness to help with light photography for some designs or social content (ie. headshots, location picture, etc.)
-Video editing or storytelling through short-form video content
-Experience working in employer branding, HR, or internal communications
-Basic email design, HTML/CSS familiarity
-Ability to write short copy when needed for layouts or headlines

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
