RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for a Content Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a hybrid role and the candidate is only required to be onsite every other week Tuesday - Thursday.
Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, data-driven, and passionate about understanding how content performs across sports, entertainment, and news for the streaming subscription business. You will help answer key business questions, build dashboards, and support decision-making with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain dashboards to track content engagement metrics (e.g., viewers, titles per viewer, promo performance)
* Analyze weekly performance of content and promotions, identifying trends and anomalies
* Pull and validate data from Snowflake using SQL to support ad hoc requests from the content team
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics (e.g., what counts as a view)
* Support reporting on content ROI and profitability aligned with core KPIs
* Assist in measuring the impact of promotions and viewer behavior across platforms
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in content analytics, merchandising, or digital media
* Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake experience preferred)
* Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, large data sets)
* Experience with Tableau (a plus to have) or other data visualization tools
* Ability to ask thoughtful questions and work independently with data
* Familiarity with streaming, D2C, eCommerce, or content-rich platforms
* Bonus: Passion for sports (e.g., NFL, college football) and experience with live streaming content
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
