Position name: SAP BTP Build Architect

Duration: 12 months

Location: Remote

We are seeking an experienced BTP Build Architect with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA to design, implement, and govern enterprise-grade solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will act as the technical authority for architecture design, development frameworks, integration patterns, and governance of BTP applications aligned with S/4HANA business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture design and solution build on SAP BTP for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.

Define best practices, standards, and guidelines for BTP application development (CAP, RAP, Fiori Elements, UI5).

Architect end-to-end integration between S/4HANA and BTP services (API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Suite).

Drive adoption of cloud-native services (Kyma, Cloud Foundry, SAP AI, Analytics Cloud, Data Lake) on BTP.

Collaborate with SAP functional, BASIS, and integration teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Ensure scalability, security, performance, and reusability of BTP applications.

Conduct design reviews, govern change requests, and approve solution blueprints.

Mentor development teams on BTP build frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices.

Provide thought leadership and stay updated on SAP s product roadmap for BTP & S/4HANA.

Required Skills & Experience

10 15 years of overall SAP/IT experience, with 4 6 years in SAP BTP.

Deep knowledge of S/4HANA architecture, extensions, and customizations.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

BTP Build / Extensibility options (In-App Extensibility, Side-by-Side via CAP/RAP).

SAP Fiori/UI5, OData, CDS views, REST APIs, BTP SDKs.

Integration Suite, Event Mesh, API Management.

Experience with multi-cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) hosting BTP workloads.

Knowledge of Kyma, Cloud Foundry, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

Strong understanding of DevOps / CI-CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SAP BTP CI/CD Service).

Excellent communication skills to engage CXOs, enterprise architects, and development teams.

Nice-to-Have

SAP Certified Development Associate SAP BTP Extension Suite / Integration Suite.

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration on BTP.

Exposure to AI/ML, RPA, and low-code/no-code tools in BTP.
