Facilities Maintenance Apprentice

We are currently seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Apprentice. This is a structured, on-the-job training opportunity designed for someone eager to start a long-term career in building maintenance.

What You ll Do:

• Work alongside an experienced technician to maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, elevators, painting, and general infrastructure.
• Perform routine inspections of facilities and report maintenance issues.
• Identify and resolve facility-related problems effectively.
• Assist in preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.
• Learn how to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Support setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, or facility space as needed.
• Assist in administration of job recordkeeping and instructions.
• Help ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

What We re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Participation in related trade school preferred.
• Interest in skilled trades or facilities maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and follow directions.
• Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, or confined spaces.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
