JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant with deep expertise in Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC), workflow development, data lineage, and data quality tools. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Python and SQL, a solid understanding of data governance frameworks, and preferably experience working with Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Design, implement, and manage data governance frameworks and policies across the organization.
- Develop and maintain Collibra workflows, data dictionaries, business glossaries, and lineage models.
- Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Integrate and automate data governance processes using Python and SQL.
- Configure and manage data quality tools to monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Work closely with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure governance policies are embedded in data pipelines.
- Provide training and support to users on Collibra and data governance best practices.
- Document and report on data governance metrics, issues, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance roles.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra DIC, including workflow development and lineage configuration.
- Proficient in Python and SQL programming.
- Strong understanding of data governance concepts, metadata management, and data stewardship.
- Experience with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Talend, Ataccama, etc.).
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Collibra Ranger or similar certification.
- Experience with Snowflake Native Apps or data sharing.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience in data cataloging, policy enforcement, and compliance reporting.
