Behavioral Scientist

About the Role:

We are seeking a forward-thinking Behavioral Scientist to support the ethical and secure development of AI systems that influence human behavior. This role combines behavioral science with cybersecurity and data analytics to identify insider risks, develop behavioral models, and guide responsible AI deployment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, designing behavioral interventions, and applying machine learning techniques to detect anomalies and support threat mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure ethical and compliant development of AI systems that impact human behavior
• Analyze user and entity behavior using AI/ML to identify and mitigate cyber threats
• Design behavioral analytics models to detect anomalies and insider risk indicators
• Develop risk scoring algorithms based on behavioral patterns and contextual factors
• Integrate data from multiple sources to build unified risk models for investigations
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover behavioral trends and risk precursors
• Prepare and validate behavioral datasets from digital channels and system logs
• Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support decision-making by enhancing anomaly detection and risk prioritization capabilities

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, computer science, information security, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in behavioral analytics, AI/ML applications, or cybersecurity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on behavioral risk
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, and SQL
• Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of statistical modeling, anomaly detection, and clustering techniques
• Familiarity with cybersecurity data sources including UEBA, DLP, system logs, and identity data
• Experience with API development, automation, and data fusion
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Ploy
• This is a full-time W2 role, not C2C

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in risk management, compliance, or AI system design
• Certifications in AI security, governance, or development
• Understanding of ethical standards in behavioral science and AI deployment
